The aim of OVERLOAD CIC is to help excitable brains stay happy and productive. Overload can have many negative impacts on life, relationships, work/school and can lead to more serious problems, a reliance on self-medicating and prescribed medicines. There are ways to help overload as well as manage the symptoms and frequency. Also employers can help productivity and reduce absence by understanding the mechanisms and conditions of overload and creating a supportive environment.
There are many unique personal experiences of overload, but also common ones - people not understanding or believing 'invisible' diseases/conditions, work not being supportive, relationships suffering, feeling overwhelmed for no obvious reason and being unsure why or what to do about it.
